Trustwave Re-Certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor by PCI SSC

Each year Trustwave undergoes a rigoroustesting process maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council in which theend goal is to be re-certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV). As statedby the Council, certified ASVs are "qualified to validate adherence to thePCI DSS by performing vulnerability scans of Internet facing environments ofmerchants and service providers."

Obtaining re-certification is very important to us. Many of our scanning customers look to us for our expertise inidentifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within their environments asthey relate to PCI DSS compliance, and they rely on us for our ability to provide guidancein addressing any discovered issues.

Today we're proud to announce that, using theTrustKeeper Scan Engine, Trustwave has successfully met all PCI SecurityStandards Council requirements in order to perform PCI DSS vulnerability scanning.As such, we retain our status as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for anotheryear.
