Trustwave Re-Certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor by PCI SSC

Each year Trustwave undergoes a rigorous testing process maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council in which the end goal is to be re-certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV). As stated by the Council, certified ASVs are "qualified to validate adherence to the PCI DSS by performing vulnerability scans of Internet facing environments of merchants and service providers."

Obtaining re-certification is very important to us. Many of our scanning customers look to us for our expertise in identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within their environments as they relate to PCI DSS compliance, and they rely on us for our ability to provide guidance in addressing any discovered issues.

Today we're proud to announce that, using the TrustKeeper Scan Engine, Trustwave has successfully met all PCI Security Standards Council requirements in order to perform PCI DSS vulnerability scanning. As such, we retain our status as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for another year.
