On Friday we posted our third question of the Trustwave 2012 Global Security Report Twitter Contest.

The question was…

"What was the 7th most popular password found during a Business Password Analysis of over 2M hashes by Trustwave SpiderLabs?"

The answer is...

"123456" and was part of the "Business Password Analysis" section (pages 35-40) in the Trustwave 2012 Global Security Report. The SpiderLabs team at Trustwave gather over 2.5M password hashes from business systems. We then performed analysis of the actual passwords which produced some surprising results including the number one password of "Password1". For more details on the analysis we performed, check out the report!

The winner is...

Melissa Ryder (@PanamaSec)
