Come Escape the Pressure with Trustwave at Infosecurity Europe | Trustwave

Written by Dan Kaplan | Apr 28, 2014

Trustwave is coming to you live this week from Infosecurity Europe in London - billed as Europe's largest free-to-attend information security event - and we have many exciting things planned.

The annual, three-day show will attract an estimated 13,000+ visitors who will attend hundreds of sessions across six streams and have the opportunity to interact with more than 325 exhibitors.

This year, our theme is all about escaping the security pressure that you almost certainly are under. That's right: Budgets are tight, IT projects are being rushed, skills and staff are experiencing shortages, threats are everywhere and more data, applications and endpoints need protecting than ever before. It's no wonder you are feeling strained and stressed.

Our job is to help you ease that pressure. So everything we have planned for the show is centered on doing exactly that. Here's what's on tap:

Booth F25

Our expansive stand will serve as center stage for our presence at the show. Visit the booth to receive copies and learn about our 2014 Security Pressures Report, listen to interactive presentations, evaluate your organization's risk by taking our free maturity assessment and demo our TrustKeeper portal. In addition, test your reaction time by playing the Batak game, and if you handle the pressure well, you can win Beats by Dre headphones. Exhibition hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. Oh, and we'll have some snacks for you to munch on throughout the day. So come hungry!

Sessions

Join us from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday for a panel discussion on the findings from our 2014 Security Pressures Report. A distinguished group of speakers will join the workshop, including Quentyn Taylor, head of security at Canon EMEA; Javvad Malik, senior analyst at 451 Research; Tom Brewster, freelance technology journalist; and Michael Aminzade, vice president of global compliance and risk services at Trustwave. Remember, invites are limited for the security workshops so make sure you have a spot if you're interested in attending.

Then, from 3:20 to 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday in the Business Strategy Theatre, SpiderLabs EMEA Director John Yeo is scheduled to deliver "An ethical hacker's view of cybercrime trends: Global real-world analysis of security derived from actual forensic investigations and incidents."
