TrustKeeper Scan Engine Update – December 15, 2014 | Trustwave

The latest update to the TrustKeeper scan engine that powers our Trustwave Vulnerability Management product (including both internal and external vulnerability scanning) is now available. Highlights of the release include two new checks for vulnerabilities and a warning of support ending for Windows Server 2003.

New Vulnerability Test Highlights

ISC BIND

• ISC BIND Delegation Handling Denial of Service Vulnerability (CVE-2014-8500)

Microsoft

• Warning of support ending for Windows Server 2003 (support ends July 14, 2015 )
• Vulnerability in .NET Framework could allow elevation of privilege (MS14-072, CVE-2014-4149)

How to Update?

All Trustwave customers using the TrustKeeper scan engine receive the updates automatically as soon as an update is available. No action is required.
