Iranian Cyber Threats and How to Hunt For Them
Early in 2020, the United States killed an Iranian General known to plot attacks on the United States and its allies. In retaliation, Iran bombed United States barracks in Iraq. Cyber-defenders are left wondering: is this the entirety of their retaliation or should we prepare for large-scale Iranian cyber attacks as well? This talk will review known threat actor groups who are operating in and on behalf of the Iranian Government, some of the modus operandi they are known for, and a few techniques that Trustwave uses to identify attackers in our clients' networks.

Brian Hussey
VP of Cyber Threat Detection & Response at Trustwave
Phishing for Data
Learn about recent phishing exploits and techniques attackers are using to successfully expose sensitive corporate data. In this presentation, you’ll hear about a recent phishing attack that led to a database breach. You’ll hear about techniques attackers used to compromise security and eventually walk away with the victim’s sensitive data. By the end of this session, you’ll have a better understanding of how you can better protect your organization from being the next data breach headline.

Phishing Threats: Back To The Future
The cyber threat landscape seems to be ever-changing. With increased headlines of data breaches, ransomware and Business Email Compromise (BEC), defending your business from attackers becoming more challenging.
If we could turn back the clock to the year 2000, we may find that the threat landscape hasn’t changed as much as we may think. If we apply lessons learned over the years, where does that take us into the future? As a defender, what can you do to help ensure your organization is safe from future threats?

So you Bought the Ferrari, Now What?
You made a big investment and bought what seemed to be the most powerful cybersecurity solution. But now, you don’t know if it is configured correctly or how to properly manage it. So what do you do with you six-figure plus investment? This session will outline what a premier solution should look like and how you can properly implement and manage it. Already made some mistakes? We will also give you a couple of tips on how to remedy the situation.

Understanding the Gangs of the Cyber Underground
The dark web is a jungle of criminal activity. Most attackers use cyber capabilities that Ziv and his team have investigated for years. During this session, Ziv will show the rules of conduct that underground forums follow, how cybercriminals collaborate and run their businesses, how they attract talent and compensate one another, and how they use underground services for money laundering. Learn more about the Magecart attacks and find out how the security research community collaborates behind the scenes to help combat this criminal activity.
