Trustwave Achieves Microsoft Cloud Security Partner Accreditation Specializing in Threat Protection

Trustwave is proud to announce it has attained status as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner for Security with a specialization in Threat Protection.

This certification further cements Trustwave as a valued Microsoft partner and comes in addition to Trustwave’s current status as a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Azure, attaining four Gold-level competencies in the Microsoft Partner Network, and having Trustwave's David Broggy, Senior Solutions Architect, Implementation Services, being awarded Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award.

“It is an honor to be named a Microsoft Solutions Partner for the cloud as it demonstrates to our clients and the industry that Trustwave meets Microsoft’s very high standards in these categories,” said Garrett Gee, Trustwave’s Global Vice President, Indirect Channels and Alliances. “Trustwave values our partnership with Microsoft, and we will continue to broaden that relationship to help better secure our clients.”

“As a Solutions Partner, Trustwave demonstrated technical capabilities, experience, and ability to deliver successful customer outcomes aligned to the Microsoft Cloud. Trustwave’s specialization in Threat Protection validates deep technical expertise in specific technical scenarios aligned with the Microsoft Cloud," Microsoft said.

Obtaining the Cloud Security and Threat Protection accreditation is a challenging process that requires an organization to demonstrate its ability to deploy Microsoft Threat Protection, Microsoft Cloud App Security, or Azure Sentinel workloads. This includes having a minimum number of Microsoft-certified individuals on staff, as well as referenceable clients and proven experience in multiple deployments.

Microsoft developed its partner program to help organizations that are unable to properly defend themselves against the growing cybersecurity threats find highly competent security partners.

Managing security is a challenge for many organizations as the number and severity of threats continues to grow, and there is a shortage of individuals with qualified security skills. This means many organizations must count on partners to secure their business-critical systems and data.

Customers are looking for reliable partners and new ways to proactively protect and monitor the security of IP and customer data to safeguard businesses. The Threat Protection specialization is designed to help customers identify which partners have validated these technical capabilities.

In short, these accreditations state that Trustwave has met Microsoft’s comprehensive requirements, further validating Trustwave’s commitment to enabling its customers to conduct their business securely.
