Trustwave Named a Leader in IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific Managed Security Services

November 29, 2022Trustwave, a leading cybersecurity and managed security services provider, has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services 2022 Vendor Assessment (AP49101222, November 2022) highlighting Trustwave’s commitment to delivering superior cybersecurity services in the Asia Pacific region.

Source: IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the circles. Vendor year-over-year growth rate relative to the given market is indicated by a plus, neutral or minus next to the vendor name.

“Building and maintaining digital trust is crucial in today’s landscape. Enterprises seek partners that can provide a full breadth of security services with clear transparency and visibility to threats coupled with actionable insights,” Shweta Baidya, Senior Research Manager, IDC.  “Trustwave has established itself as a reputable and reliable player in the market. With strong MDR capabilities supported by its threat intelligence platform, Trustwave is a good fit for enterprises looking to partner with a vendor that marries both expertise and best practices from real-world consulting initiatives — all at a competitive price point.”

The IDC MarketScape noted that “Trustwave has been aggressively working with enterprises and midmarket customers to offer effective MDR services that are easy and simple to implement with affordable pricing options. Apart from this, the large user community available through the Security Colony collaboration portal has had a greater impact across users, allowing them to leverage the cumulative threat intelligence and make informed decisions and reduce security risks significantly.”

The IDC MarketScape also noted, “the Security Colony collaboration portal, launched in 2020, continues to act as a key differentiator for Trustwave. Clients can access real-world content from its peers. Trustwave anonymizes and makes deliverables from consulting outputs across hundreds of companies available to clients, saving time and money.”

Jason Whyte, General Manager for Pacific at Trustwave said, “Trustwave is delighted to be recognised as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Asia Pacific Managed Security Services. Following the tough operating conditions for businesses over the past few years, coupled with a challenging cyber threat landscape, talent shortages, and increased migration to cloud environments, delivering top-quality cybersecurity products, guidance, and education to customers and partners remains Trustwave’s number one priority.”

The IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific Managed Security Services 2022 Vendor Assessment assessed organisations in the Asia Pacific region against a broad set of parameters including: breadth of service offerings; portfolio benefits; delivery model; market execution; cost management; innovation; customer satisfaction; and talent management.
