The UK Ministry of Defence cybersecurity organization is responsible for ensuring military readiness across people, processes, and technology, in a highly disrupted geopolitical environment. The UK MoD must detect, stop, and eradicate cyber threats through effective security operations and exposure management.

In this session, the speakers will discuss MoD’s cybersecurity evolution, the latest threats on the horizon and what Trustwave and the MOD are doing collaboratively in building security awareness through delivery of Crisis Simulations.

Simon Harrison is the Army Principal Security Advisor for the UK Ministry of Defence. He has 23 years’ experience in Technology, Security and Assurance; the last 14 years have been within the Army. He is a member of the US DIA Intelligence Fellowship Programme and has the following certifications: NCSC Certified Professional as an Accreditor, NCSC Foundation and CISSP Certified.
