Trustwave Embarks on an Extended Partnership with Microsoft Copilot for Security

Trustwave today announced it will offer clients expert guidance on implementing and fully leveraging the just-released Microsoft Copilot for Security, a generative AI-powered security solution that helps increase the efficiency and capabilities of defenders to improve security outcomes.

Trustwave gained this ability by being a key partner in Microsoft's Copilot for Security Partner Private Preview, during which Trustwave gave feedback to Microsoft and will continue to be relied upon to leverage its expertise to shape the product for broader use. Microsoft selected Trustwave based on its proven experience with Microsoft Security technologies, willingness to explore and provide feedback on cutting-edge functionality, and its long-standing relationship with Microsoft.

"As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, it presents exciting possibilities for the future of cybersecurity and to help close the worldwide cyber talent shortage," said Trustwave CISO Kory Daniels. "Being early adopters of AI and machine learning, we're committed to continuous learning while harnessing the benefits internally, and supporting our clients navigate their own AI journeys with outcomes that empower their cyber defenses.”

Trustwave's involvement as a partner will enable it to offer clients expert guidance on implementing and fully leveraging Microsoft Copilot for Security and the extended ecosystem of Microsoft Security technologies. The partnership program gave Trustwave's team of security specialists a deep knowledge of Microsoft Copilot for Security's functionalities, broader AI, and machine learning (ML) capabilities and harnessing the power of Microsoft Security technologies to improve detection, investigation, and response actions to rapidly and effectively eradicate threats.

Trustwave already leverages AI and machine learning for enriched threat detection across its managed security services and within its email security offering, MailMarshal. Trustwave's machine learning modules improve the speed and effectiveness of detections, enabling rapid containment and response actions. For example, innovation harnessing machine learning within MailMarshal allows Trustwave SpiderLabs to detect greater than 1 million new malicious URLs per month.

As part of the partner program, Trustwave helped refine Microsoft Copilot for Security for optimal performance by validating and refining real-world use cases and providing feedback on user experience and overall effectiveness. Trustwave's contributions further ensured a robust framework for future extensibility of Microsoft Copilot for Security through API validation and feedback.

Trustwave has a proven track record of assisting clients in migrating to and optimizing their Microsoft stack in homogeneous and heterogeneous environments.

With Microsoft Copilot for Security now generally available, security teams gain a powerful AI ally to combat evolving threats and manage risk resilience now at digital speeds.
