Trustwave Secures Fourth Gold Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network

Trustwave announced today that it has attained Gold competency in security in the Microsoft Partner Network, a mark reached by only 1% of all Microsoft partners.

This certification, awarded upon rigorous review of technical certifications and innovative solutions, represents Microsoft’s highest level of partner recognition for aligning technical expertise to customer needs.

"As the threat landscape evolves and becomes more advanced, our clients rely on us for world-class detection and response capabilities, and our industry-recognized threat intelligence,” said Eric Harmon, CEO of Trustwave. “Achieving Gold competency is a testament to our continuous investments in our platform, our offerings, and our elite talent in order to meet the strenuous security needs of global enterprises.”

Attaining Microsoft Gold status is a long and complicated process. Partners must take a series of exams to prove their level of technology expertise. Once this is successfully completed these individuals are named Microsoft Certified Professionals.

The partners then designate these certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity is met. Having this number of Microsoft-certified experts on staff proves the partner’s level of Microsoft technology expertise. Certified partners must also meet a minimum number of client accounts under support with Cybersecurity offerings around the Microsoft Security technology.

Gold Partner Status is awarded to only the top 1% of Microsoft partners and is a recognized mark of the highest technology and business performance standards worldwide. Trustwave holds Microsoft Gold competencies in three other areas: Cloud Platform, Application Integration, and Application Development.

This is not the first time Microsoft has singled out Trustwave for honors.

In 2021, Trustwave was named a Microsoft Security 20/20 award winner for the Top Managed Security Operations Center (SOC) category. The award recognized top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation, integration, and customer implementation with Microsoft technology.
